We were using a variety of different pieces of software and systems that had evolved over a number of years. However, these systems had become increasingly cumbersome, rigid and time consuming. As we wanted to expand and develop our business, we needed to wipe the slate clean and re-think our entire front to back office recruitment process.
We needed a system which was flexible, highly efficient and yet scaleable. If we could find all these qualities in one system then it would truly give us a competitive advantage and allow us to expand and develop our business in the future as planned.
Our requirements were particularly complex as we needed to be able to take into account a number of different requirements:
· to integrate with our existing front office software
· to incorporate an existing feed from an electronic clock card system
· to be able to cater for multiple sites and multiple disciplines
· to be able to cope with any new business acquisitions
· to be able to consolidate as well as report separately any new business acquisitions
We reviewed a number of different solutions available in the market place and after extensive research decided that the solution provided by Anderson Consulting (now incorporated as Cambridge Recruitment Software Solutions Ltd) offered the best overall fit to our requirements. They clearly understood our business and our requirements. They project managed the whole transition from our old back office accounting systems to Opera II Recruitment and provided training and support throughout the transitional period.
The level of service and understanding of our business needs was excellent. The back office solution provided by Anderson Consulting has substantially reduced the processing effort, reduced errors and made the whole process of paying candidates and billing customers much simpler, more efficient and far more flexible. We now have plenty of spare capacity which will allow us to process far higher volumes of placements in the future. We also have detailed management information available to us almost instantaneously and the ability to drill down in our management accounts back to the source transactions.
